In the Edmond and Oklahoma City area,
there are several good places to go to puppy or any age obedience
classes. It is a good idea to visit the places we suggest below and talk to the instructors. The suggestions below
vary in the price and the size of the classes. Paws for Life encourages classes that use positive reinforcement.

"Our goal is to create an environment where dogs and people can enjoy
learning together. We don’t want to just have a positive dog training school, we want to
have a positive dog training community, where like-minded people can come together,
enjoy their dogs and learn. We plan to have social activities and open our school for
socialization and play sessions, practice sessions and matches, and to bring in seminars
for educational opportunities for the entire dog owning community."
Petsmart offers classes at all of their stores. They have a wide range of classes so call and find out which would best fit
you and your dog. The Edmond Petsmart gives any dogs that have been adopted through the Edmond Animal Shelter
$20.00 off on classes. This offer may change, so Paws for Life, Inc doesn't guarantee it is still ongoing. Please call
1-800-465-7387 ext. 5157 for training info or Lynne Bennett, pet training instructor, at 330-4079.
