The City of Edmond needs kitty kennels for the new
shelter.

Paws For Life Inc. is
trying to raise funds for buying new cat kennels. The kennels the shelter
would like to purchase are more like a two-story cat condominium with
a perch for the cats to rest upon and the litter boxes are separated
from the other cats in connecting units and sort of hidden from view.
"The kennels now used by the shelter have the litter in a bowl and it often becomes a mess," Officer Spence said. "The more spacious kennels will cost about $4,400 for space for six compartments," said Mary Robertson, Paw's president, "and that is the amount her organization is aiming to raise."
